The other, who had actually been ordered by his Antifa handler to go kill Rittenhouse, was also shot while attempting to arm himself with Kyle's gun. Since you don't like the idea of people in "riot areas" being armed, you'll be relieved to learn that they were thwarted. Both of these people had violent criminal records, and one was a registered sex offender. Good thing Kyle kept them from getting a gun.
Gaige Grosskreutz, who didn't die, was armed with a pistol, and all witness testimony (even his own) confirms that he was menacing Rittenhouse with it.
