Look closely at your map..a lot more Ukes have been running out of the city of Bakhmut than Rooskies have been on the flanks. If/when the Rooskies reach Chasiv Yar, then either the Ukes have to retreat again from the flanks, or have a massive amount of reinforcements arrive to protect their western side. At this point it looks like its almost at a stalemate with the edge on the Rooskies side. Ukraine will sue for peace by the end of the year, or Nato will escalate and intervene. Ukraine is running out of men. The Elon Musk suggestion a while ago was a decent idea.........50000 dead soldiers ago on both sides. Widows and orphans would agree with Musk.
