In the information age with hi-tech devices, computers and GPS tracking devices is it reasonable to believe that human beings can still experience a vision or an apparition?

My oldest friend does. She seems to have some connection to God.
Not since the Pentecost.
I would speculate that yes, certain people do receive spiritual visions. Such phenomena are intensely personal and may remain untold to others, so as to avoid the skeptics.
I’m not speaking of manic delusions of disturbed minds.
Many people who were at one time declared medically ‘dead’ have said they received visions or profound communication.
Not all do. There is a great deal concerning the manner of our existence which remains undefined and unexplained.
The late Apostle Don Lyon (Rockford, IL) had a vision many years ago as he sat on the floor of his office and prayed. He found himself on the outside of the church and had grown to an enormous size. As he looked toward the city, he could see dark clouds over it with periodic flashes of light. He began walking towards the city, which didn’t take him long because of his enormous size. :)
Once he arrived, he looked down to see people in bondage - drug addicts, prostitutes, sinners... He picked them up with his hand and began to pray prayers of deliverance.
The more he prayed, the lighter the atmosphere became. Finally, the darkness was removed from the city. The vision was over.
The LORD gave him the interpretation of the vision.
The darkness over the city was sin. The flashes of light in the dark clouds were the prayers of the saints. His size was how the LORD saw him when he prayed.
Black democrats have a vision of sugarplums.
They visualize getting huge amounts of money via reparations.
But, in today’s world, anybody can be black, just like anybody can claim to be a woman or a man, even if they were born differently.
So, I have visions of sugarplums too.
All I know is that once nearly everyone had a HD quality camera with them at all times, reported sightings of Bigfoot have declined.
Years after Pentecost, Peter and Cornelius had visions.
Acts 10:3
About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!”
Years later, the Apostle John had the vision which resulted in the book of Revelation.
Ah yes. I stand corrected.
Should have said, not since the end of the Apostolic Age.
Yes. I’ve had dreams that were not just dreams. I have occasionally posted about them. If someone like me (I’m not anything special) can have them then they are being given.
Still, Scripture is to be preferred over any experience, point to it. Scripture is the word of God. Scripture is inspectable by anyone (where dreams and visions are not) and the word about the Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, is sufficient to tell anyone how they can be saved from sin, that they ate commanded to be saved.
Acts 9 and Paul's many references to his many visions.
Acts 16:8 "9 During the night Paul had a vision: there stood a man of Macedonia pleading with him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 When he had seen the vision, we immediately tried to cross over to Macedonia, being convinced that God had called us to proclaim the good news to them."
I’m satisfied with The Word.
God’s spirit works Thru That.

Paul Tells of His Conversion
12 “With this in mind, I was traveling to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests,
13 when at midday along the road, your Excellency,[c] I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and my companions.
14 When we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew[d] language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It hurts you to kick against the goads.’
15 I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ The Lord answered, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.
16 But get up and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you to serve and testify to the things in which you have seen me[e] and to those in which I will appear to you.
17 I will rescue you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you
18 to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
Nearly every vision of the prophets was given by God in a dream.
Zechariah 10:2
For the household gods utter nonsense, and the diviners see lies; they tell false dreams and give empty consolation. Therefore the people wander like sheep; they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd.
Jeremiah 14:14
And the Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.
Micah 3:6
Therefore it shall be night to you, without vision, and darkness to you, without divination. The sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be black over them.
Hebrews 1:1-2
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
This is a fascinating compilation of dreams and visions....

Technology isn’t implanted in the human brain yet. What could possibly make someone think GPS devices and smartphone screens would interfere with the ability to see visions?
I just saw the typo: “ate” commanded
Truly the last edit you do is one edit too few.
Well, it certainly is easier these days to be rich in the heart of the flesh and trust in yourself, your gadgets and other men rather than the Lord.
Indeed, one might say that even “poor” Americans are among those Jesus would have considered rich.
Thankfully the Lord can make camels pass through the eyes of needles.
Why would anyone need visions in this day? We had the Bible from beginning to end.
