Keep in mind that when the GOP primary process gets underway in early 2024, Trump will be in court explaining why he paid hush money to a porn actress and a Playboy bunny.

Go slobber in front of the TV some more while you swallow as much "brought to you by Pfizer" slop as you can hold.

No. DeSantis is working with a Globalist Big Business Cabal to take down Trump. DeSantis is not putting Florida before his political opinions. Trump’s snake story comes to mind. DeSantis is not someone that will work for American interests. He is doing a few flashy things to get street cred from those thirsty for a champion. Meanwhile Florida has areas of concern that are being ignored by the gallivanting would be President.

When so many people in politics have sold their souls and know how to con, and when McConnell will only confirm picks he can depend on to play for his team it is not surprising that Trump was forced to pick the best of the worst.

I strongly supported Trump in 2016 and 2020, both financially and with my actions in my locality. My locale gave him a resounding victory in both elections. Respectfully, winning the next election is crucial for the future of this nation. I don’t foresee how Trump can put together a winning coalition with his current behavior pattern, and with the entrenched opposition of moderates and independents.

Name calling aside, I just hope the Trump personality cult members can bring themselves to support DeSantis if and when he wins the nomination. Further, I hope Trump can be a gracious loser if and when that time comes. That’s the only way we can flush the Biden / Harris regime into the ashbin of history.

Good bye Ron. I really liked him when he first was elected as Gov. and thought he was a real up and comer. However, turning his back on Trump and MAGA by running a shadow campaign has really turned me off. I am looking for other up and comers.

Well DeSantis is actually fighting the left and winning. Trump not so much.

I like trump but he is not a great gov’t executive because he keeps picking terrible people and trying to “make a deal” with RINOs and democrats. That’s why he puts these terrible people in power. It’s his art of the deal. And that just got him bamboozled by the art of the steal.

You are entitled to your opinions. I react poorly when posters make broad statements without facts. How silly to pretend that you know that Trump can’t form a broad coalition when he is able to get thousands to rallies across the country on 1-2 days notice, when hispanics & blacks are crossing to MAGA and leaving the left in large numbers.
Complaining about Trump’s behavior is a very personal matter and the spin by his enemies is dizzying.

Trump’s behavior in office & the accomplishments on America’s priorities is the yardstick I use and his performance is exemplary. Shooting from the hip and flaming those who disrespect him or are pretending to be conservatives is not really a problem to me. I am not looking for a suave presence who changes depending on to whom his is speaking. I am looking for a tenacious fighter who loves America, it’s Constitution and her people.

As Ronald Reagan famously told a voter while campaigning in Detroit in 1980, “I can’t do a damn thing for you if I don’t get elected!” He went on to build a coalition that carried him to both a popular vote and electoral vote landslide. Trump could not win in GA, AZ PA, NV MI and WI in 2020. There’s no reason to believe that will change.

If you’re looking for an example of building such a coalition, look at Glenn Youngkin. He got hardcore Trump supporters, never Trumpers, and a lot of independents and flipped a blue state to red. He has gone on to govern as a conservative governor. So has Ron DeSantis, but to listen to Trump DeSantis has been a disastrous governor.

The math is not there for anyone other than Trump to be the nominee.. never has been.

If Trump were not running everything would be different but with him running, there are not enough votes in the NeverTrump/Establishment/Globalist part of the party to win.

People claiming otherwise are the same folks who told you OZ could win PA.

I am afraid your analysis is superficial.
“DeSantis is actually fighting the left and winning”...on a small & local scale. Disney is not down for the count yet. Trump accomplished so much more.
It seems disingenuous to repeat the tired inaccurate narrative “ he keeps picking terrible people and trying to “make a deal” with RINOs and democrats”.

#1 The Senate (legislative branch) would not confirm his choices, refused to make MAGA laws and boxed him in. Remember McCain who singlehandedly torpedoed Trump’s signature bill? Americans were hurt by MCCain & all the other RINO who protected Wall Street & RINO donations and screwed Main Street. Trump was only allowed to pick Mitch approved appointments.
#2 “trying to “make a deal” with RINOs and democrats” What were his other choices to get anything accomplished for America?
3# How dishonest to ignore all that was accomplished and blame Trump for the stolen elections run by States & outside of his control. How sickenly “cute” your coy closing insult is for a man who served for free as President and tirelessly worked to make sure every American had opportunity and fair play. Have you forgotten all of the deals from Treaties, to Arab/Israel to bringing back manufacturing.

Wrong. Maybe you’d like to post Trump’s statement that DeSantis is a disastrous governor?
PS anyone who uses the fraudulent 2020 election results to make a point has lost the veracity battle.

So you ignore all the other things he did to be the left and the #1 was election reform. The thing that Trump screwed up in on 5 states. Tx and Fl ensure the left didn’t cheat and even made gains to prevent old ways of cheating.

But that’s nothing according to you.

Since you asked, here are a few recent examples of Trump’s denigration of DeSantis:

April 21

“The real DeSantis record is one of misery and despair,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement. “He has left a wake of destruction all across Florida and people are hurting because he has spent more time playing public relations games instead of actually doing the hard-work needed to improve the lives of the people he represents.”

April 16
Trump on Sunday called DeSantis “disloyal” and said the governor’s stances on both Social Security and Medicare will lead to his political downfall.
“Social Security and Medicare, and Ron’s attack on both, have destroyed DeSanctimonious. His love affair with Jeb Bush and Karl Rove, certainly haven’t helped, but being a DISCIPLE of ‘Wheelchair over the Cliff’ Paul Ryan, has been a disaster. Ron has lost his supporters and his support, and MAGA refuses to Endorse disloyal people,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

Feb 8
Trump on Tuesday reposted a photo on the social media app, Truth Social, showing what appeared to be a younger DeSantis smiling alongside three women, whose faces were blurred.
Bold text on the photo read, “Here is Ron DeSantimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher,” followed by a vomit emoji.
“That’s not Ron, is it? He would never do such a thing!” Trump sarcastically wrote on the post.
Jan. 28

Former President Donald Trump took aim at Ron DeSantis Saturday, claiming the Florida governor and his team are “trying to rewrite history” regarding their Covid-19 pandemic response, and called the potential presidential run by his GOP rival “very disloyal.”
“There are Republican governors that did not close their states,” Trump told reporters while aboard his plane. “Florida was closed for a long period of time.”
“They’re trying to rewrite history,” he added

I guess you couldn’t find the quote to support your prior post.

“The real DeSantis record is one of misery and despair,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement
is Cheung now Trump’s mouthpiece????

The other quotes are fair comments on DeSantis actions and positions. I guess the truth is unpalatable.

Come out of the coma. Your first clause is gibberish and the rest is balderdash. Freegards. If you think there is no election fraud in Tx & Fl you are not bothering to read the articles.
