Sarah Bonner has been an Illinois middle school teacher for 20 years, and she has always tried to offer her students a diverse collection of books.
One of those books was Juno Dawson’s “This Book is Gay.” It’s a bestselling nonfiction book that’s billed by its publisher as an entertaining and informative “instruction manual” for anyone coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans.
“By Wednesday, I received notice that parents had gotten a hold of pictures from that book that their child had taken in class,” Bonner says. “By Friday, I was told that parents had filed a police report against me for child endangerment.”
The day after Bonner learned about the police report, she received a letter from her school district — she had been placed on paid administrative leave.

A diverse collection? Would that include a copy of the Bible? I don’t think she’d even consider that.
Good for the parents. They should have. She had been grooming children for 20 years and hadn’t got caught.

I’ve often wondered why parents do not file police reports against teachers who provide their children with porn. Yes, it is likely no serious action will be taken, but it does put the teacher, school, and the public on notice. And in this case, the teacher has been placed on leave. When a teacher at that school is eventually arrested on child abuse charges, the administrators will not be able to say they were unaware that grooming was happening at the school.
Oh sure, and the rest of the school was a “dangerous place” for kids. She is quite full of herself!
The article never says how old the students are who were given this pornography and grooming aid.
NO child is old enough to receive this smut from an adult. She should be charged with every offense a pedophile, groomer, rapist, and sexual abuser is charged with.
If you read the reviews of this filth at Amazon, people have included pictures and actual quotes. It tells the kids how to upload their picture to Grindr and hook up with other gays. The book details disgusting perversions as if they are perfectly normal.
Any kid subjected to this filth is going to have their hormones revved up and sexual expectations destroyed for life.
Get them hooked on porn, get them confused and immoral, get them to hate anything good, hate God, hate their parents, get them pregnant, get to the abortion factory. Public School are nothing but indoctrination centers and Fetus Farms.
Public schools are the number one most dangerous places for children in America.
The sad part is this “teacher” was a product of the schools 20 years ago. IOW, this has been going on for more time than we believed. I was in “middle school” in the early 60’s. None of the teachers I had then would have even attempted to “teach” this crap or they would have been at least fired. Meanwhile, the “teacher” colleges began turning out a host of radicals mostly fueled by the “anti war” and civil rights movements which were communist ruse. They began landing into the school systems around that time and got deeper embedded as time went on. Now we got what happened from that. A good deal of them believe it is their mission to make little radicals out of the kids. Issues like abortion, social justice, equity and the like are just that, issues to undermine the country. No wonder little Johnny cannot read now but guarantee he can spout globull warming crap from memory.
If someone asked me to point to a specific time where in this all changed, I would point to when the schools abandoned dress codes. The power at that point pivoted to the students who were being fueled by the leftests indoctrinating them.
She resigned because...she didn’t feel “safe”. LOL

Books are a major source of wisdom, especially when they focus on themes and archetypes that have existed for millennia. It’s through reading good literature and learning ageless wisdoms that people can avoid learning lessons the hard way. No one lives long enough to learn everything by trial and error experience.
One last thing, the best book of wisdom is not allowed in schools anymore. Maybe there is a connection between that and behavior in today’s society. You know the book I am writing about, it’s the Holy Bible. It used to be a foundation to understanding any other good literature because good literature often refers to scripture. All of that goes over many people’s heads today. They have no reference point.
Originally, it was GLBT (until the L's realized they were second on the totem pole) which I pronounced giblets so I read it as the giblet people.
One's life should not be centered around one's giblets.

I went against the tide and actually read the whole article and unless I somehow missed it, at not point did it mention if this list of books, with this one in particular, from her personal collection or from the school library. I can only assume it’s hers. She should have stuck to the school’s books where (unfortunately) she would likely have found a few dozen like minded “approved” books.

And of course the NBC article never tells us what was specifically in the book that upset the parents so much they had to contact the police. All we get is the useless fluff that she doesn’t “feel safe” now And gushing about what a wonderful teacher she is and and now she’s the victim and blah blah blah blah blah blahhhhhhhh……
I read through the article twice and didn’t see any indication of which city or school district she taught in.
