The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal called the planned creation of a register of damage caused by Russian aggression a real step towards compensation.

This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to European truth.

“I think we will make a real step towards finding a mechanism of compensation for the atrocities that Russia committed in Ukraine,” Shmyhal said.

“This is only the first step. The next step is to create a compensation mechanism. And eventually there should be a tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression,” he added.

As a reminder, the Council of Europe summit will take place in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. According to Ursula von der Leyen, one of the key topics will be bringing Russia to justice for crimes committed in Ukraine.
