the Jan 6 trials - tried in front of a jury NOT composed of their peers - composed of the very people (or indirectly connected with) connected with the govt that the defendants are accused of ‘overthrowing’.
Based on that; the defense attorneys should demand a jury made up of MAGA people.

personally, I don’t think any US citizen should ever have to stand trial in DC.
our system of justice allows for innocent till proven guilty and the right to a fair & speedy trial by a jury of your peers.
now that DC allows not citizens the right to vote, and if the DC jury pool is pulled from the voters rolls, then you have no guarantee that the jury will be made up of US citizens.
PS: aren’t they trying to allow non citizens the right to vote out on the left coast, too??
Conversely, many believe that this is why Durham brought no indictments - crimes committed by the govt cannot be successfully prosecuted in D.C. . . . ominous!
