Jesus. Cats in human history were domesticated by humans as farming societies developed to help control animals that were threats to crops. Just as Dogs were domesticated to help hunt and protect those crops, etc.
Snakes are not animals to be able to be domesticated.
Feral cats and killing them indiscriminately in Australia and New Zealand is no different than these rural uncivilized Chinese killing and eating dogs.
Dogs and cats were domesticated by humans, feral cats are the consequence of pet owners not spaying and neutering their pets and then breeding more cats which turn feral.
I have no problems with eating cats or dogs.
It is no more uncivilized than eating other animals.
