One danger not mentioned here, but at another article posted today is Depleted Uranian shells which are used by US and UK in tank warfare and manufacture. Today it was reported Russia hit a store of these shells in Ukraine they had received from the UK.

Reporters may not ask questions about this issue as it is complex and little known. You can have a good jump on the media by reading the very detailed link below.
