I have NO idea WHY you posted about Stevenson, unless you are alluding to RDS ( who is NOT a charismatic speaker ) and his loss against Trump and/or Biden.
The Democrats ran Stevenson in ‘52. He lost. For some reason, they thought he could win four years after losing to the same guy. He lost again. (Even though they had a different running mate.)
Running the same guy who lost to their same candidate four years ago isn’t likely to work out well. Grover Cleveland was in the 1890s. Not exactly modern.
