Some estimates place the number he killed at 400,000 . Franco tolerated only one political party and that was his party, the Fascists! Do some research. We're free people here on this site, we have no love for dictators .

When I was a young lad, my parents took me on a tour of Europe. We visited relatives behind the Iron Curtain. I could feel the oppressive atmosphere.

Later, we visited Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Spain. I could feel the difference. I didn't feel any oppressive atmosphere in any of those nations, including Spain (Franco was old, but still alive).
