I can’t give you specifics ie cost of living, etc……but I can tell you Hixson would be a good choice.
It’s across the Tennessee River from Chattanoooga proper, so you have the best of both worlds…
Hixson is a quiet bedroom community, but is actually incorporated into Chatttanooga
I can even recommend churches there as I have family in the area.
Hixson is actually where I feel that im being directed. I have friends there, but a church would be a great way to build a new life and friendships. I would appreciate any connections you could give if I move into the area. I will be pretty much moving blind, and quite honestly alone. Church, along with clubs like the Eagles and American Legion would be my first place to build friendships and bonds.
