Just out of curiosity, what has happened in the last number of years that has been bringing conservative tv news personalities to Nashville? Lahren is the 1st name I can think of and I think there is maybe another. Just curious. Thanks.
Hi Mach! My situation was a bit different, as I had a contract based in Denver with a Nashville company who, when it expired, brought me out there. However, what I learned was that there were a great many production studios born from the huge music industry there that, by its nature and culture was very conservative. Overall, it both built and drew a fantastic tv/film crew base who would come in for work from nearby GA, KY, SC, and AL. With the grounded, mostly conservative southern men, it created a hard working, cordial crew/work environment. Housing was another draw. I want to cry when I think back to the $300k - $500k "mansion" that I could have bought that, today, would be an easy million. So, I'm sure that was a huge draw. The city was easy to navigate and very exciting. Parts were very dirty, unlike Denver. Today, Denver is mostly disgusting but I suspect Nashville has kept its beauty due to its conservative vibe. Anyway, I think those might be reasons that industry grew there and drew intelligent, good people. 😎🎶
