President Trump Refused To Treat The Ukraine War Like A Sporting Event

Not very smart, you
The Colosseum - Ukraine
I believe he has condemned the invasion and would do it again. However, this time he preferred to say that it was a mistake.
I believe Trump tries to be extremely sincere. He thinks he will be president again and that he will have to negotiate with Putin. He’s being completely honest about how to approach it so hes not throwing out judgments that would offend Putin.
Trump is too honest he ought to just condemn Putin for now for the election but Trump doesn’t operate that way.
I’m not sure if he is 100%. His foreign policy is very good though and he has the record to back it up.
Reward Putin's invasion of Ukraine with annexed territory? That will teach China not to invade Taiwan.
“Ukraine’s survival is Taiwan’s survival. Ukraine’s success is Taiwan’s success,” “Our futures are closely linked.”
“Support for Ukraine is relevant to us because, first of all, ultimately it helps to deter. It imposes costs on the aggressor,” Hsiao said. “International support for Ukraine is also essential in affirming the credibility and reliability of the United States and your allies.”
Taiwan’s representative in Washington, Bi-khim Hsiao
I agree in this way: Under the Biden regime, any peace process that results in annexed territory would embolden China to possibly invade Taiwan. It’s a another story if Trump is in there and there is the same peace deal outcome(although Trump would get a much better deal for Ukraine I believe).
China will not be invading Taiwan with Trump in the white house.
Putin was emboldened by the disaster of the Afghanistan withdrawal, and nobody from the clown show that allowed that to happen was fired. America looks very weak under this administration, and countries laugh in our general direction.
Doesn’t sound like you’ve ever been involved in negotiations like this either. And neither has Trump.
Russia and Ukraine had five (count ‘em!) BINDING agreements on their respective borders, independence from each other, territorial integrity, self sovereignty and mutual recognition.
Ukraine has never violated so much as one component clause of even one of those agreements. Russia hasn’t seen a clause in any of them that they haven’t attempted to circumvent, pervert or violate.
So for a good fifteen years Russia committed multiple bad faith violations while the world’s solution was “yeah, but we mustn’t poke the bear.” It solved nothing.
Eventually Ukraine was gonna hit back, and the Maidan aftermath was that shatter point. They invoked the UN Charter and Budapest agreement which is how the UK and US got “invited” by Ukraine to uphold their signed obligations. into the conflict.
But Russia always knew it’d happen one day. Unless Putin is immensely retarded, he must’ve known that the USA and UK would not rip up the security guarantees they made TO RUSSIA AS WELL AS TO UKRAINE.
Likewise, Russia knew in December 2021 that demanding the US unilaterally kick the article 5 umbrella away from the Baltic was a troll demand - the USA can’t do it, period. But he pushed that button anyway.
Putin doesn’t respect deals, even when the deals give him everything he’s asking for.
If Trump got a deal signed in 24 hours Russia would be violating it within 48 hours. And Ukraine would retaliate.
No?
Well, consider this. All the way through 2029 and 2021, you could count civilian casualties per month in the Donbas on your fingers.
Putin refused to pull even one Wagner stooge out of the Donbas despite the Minsk agreements requiring Moscow to do so.
Only three COMBATANTS were killed in January 2022 and Putin+ Pushilin used those three deaths to accuse Ukraine of planning genocide... And the pre planned invasion in late February was started exactly according to the timetable Zhirinovsky announced months earlier.
That is what would happen to any deal Trump secured in 24 hours. Russia would totally refuse to carry out anything, and immediately set about the task of finding loopholes and excuses to properly violate the agreement... No matter what Ukraine does to stick to it.
