Indeed, she could have easily gone online/social media and found all the hookups she wanted - but she pursued this. There's something about sexual perversion that often wants inexperience and unfamiliarity with the act and what it entails, ie) innocence.
Perhaps its about control over the terms of the relationship, as well as projection of one's own false views of one's own character.
This is what’s hard to understand. If she felt lust or desire , those feelings, she could find a consenting adult partner and not be in legal trouble.
Why do these events happen? Are the teachers cases of Arrested Development? Are they emotional cripples? Is the taboo aspect of things increasing their excitement? Do they feel like they themselves are students back in school, even though they are now teachers?
