Nature is mysterious. Here we have dysphoric humans suddenly wanting to have their reproduction organs removed, or actively sterilizing themselves thinking they want to be the opposite gender. Maybe nature is “culling” those that are weakened, sick and should not reproduce.

Sounds like they're trying to figure out when to change up the chemical prescribed to the patient in order to fake menopause.
If a doctor prescribed weight loss pills or liposuction to a patient with Anorexia or Bulimia, he'd be thrown in prison. Yet, he can freely prescribe hormones and mutilating surgery for patients with Gender Dysphoria.
