You are right. I've had similar experiences. In all my years on FR I can't remember ever having had a comment removed, except on the Youkazoid propaganda blasts RevMom posts. And in all my years not once, in spite of some spats that got mighty heated and downright nasty, have I ever requested that the mods remove a comment that pissed me off or insulted me, nor would I ever make such a request.

Free speech, baby and free, open discussion's where it's at for me. Makes things more fun, more interesting, entertaining and more thought provoking.

Now this one is truly hilarious! I have never known an Eastern European; Youcraynian, Ruzzzzziiiiaaaaan, Slovokian, Estonian etc., who wasn't an absolute pro at getting corned off their head on a regular basis.

On one of my overseas gigs I worked with a dozen Ruzzians, Youkes and Poles. When they opened a bottle of vodka it had to be finished.

I came to dread those times when a bottle would appear and I'd be strong-armed into partying with them - it was almost impossible to escape from it and those lunatics would hawk me to make sure I was pounding the sh*t down at the same rate they were or they'd start mercilessly busting my agates.

Because of several extremely bad (and dangerous) experiences involving those guys, loaded weapons and vodka, to this day the thought of drinking vodka makes me feel instantly sick to my stomach.
