This thing about Ibra has been going around for at least 3 years. The producers have made out clear they are looking for someone younger for the role and Ibra in that criteria is too old. Hanks and his compadres for some reason just salivate at the thought of a Black James Bond.
As far as I am concerned the run is over. The franchise had a remarkable 60 year run. Where else is there to go, who will the Villains now be? Having been there since the beginning at 7 when I saw my first film, Dr. No, it has been a nice ride and while Connery was great, Dalton was good also, but I really have liked Daniel Craig and thought he did an outstanding job in the role.
I will be interested in seeing who they cast but I see few good prospects out there.
