How I refer to you is not your free speech right. It is mine. Pronouns are the speech of someone who is referring to someone else. You can’t control that. You can’t demand that I refer to you in a certain manner. So, don’t try. I will not comply.
I have been telling my kids this exact same thing. Pronouns are the words I use to refer to a person while talking to a 3rd party. Attempts to have me use a “preferred” pronoun are simply attempts to control the contents of my conversation with a 3rd party. Not No, but Hell No.
Someone needs to come up with a description of mentally ill people the trans crowd would find acceptable to being called.
