Wearing medals on a business suit. Unfit for duty as usual. Or as his former CO would say “you’re all jacked up soldier. Go get yourself squared away.”

Is the coronation of a foreign king have “a military nature”? And is a suit considered “appropriate civilian clothes”?
Regardless of how the rule might be interpreted, he looks like an idiot with those medals on a suit. Reminds me of those old Russian guys with 50 medals pinned on their old uniforms that they squeezed into. Although Kerry’s suit looks like a burlap sack hanging on a dried out Christmas tree.

Recalling the time a few years ago when those medals were being discussed, it was said that there was no documentation on two Purple Hearts and the Silver Star, only his word.

I think the one in the top row, far right is the Biden issued “Hatch Act Violation Medal”. The one next to it is the DNC issued “Logan Act Violation Medal”.

I can make out two: purple heart (2) and national defense ribbon. Cannot make the rest. Not sure of the order of precedence either but not appropriate for civilian attire IMO.
