The Allen Premium Outlets in Texas have a gun-free zone policy.
So, we can stop blaming Texas gun laws for the mass shooting tragedy today.
We can instead blame the murderer and ask the better question: If there were armed Texans there, would he have been killed sooner?

Here you go.
Anyone else here that the murderer was shouting about justice for the guy that died in the NYC subway. And death to whites.
Is that confirmed?
Dallas news is already reporting that the shooter was”right wing” so this one will stay in the news.
We will probably get a visit from Joe Biden to be exploited for political advantage.
No, but if you find the link, please post.
The families should sue the mall for no security and for allowing guns in a gun free zone
Did some checking around. It was in a tweet, but the world is that the tweet was a lie.
Depends on your local police. Lots of video on You Tube of corrupt cops detaining people, soliciting a trespass, and then arresting someone even though this is illegal.
Some of the police departments pulling this crap are in Texas. And after this event you can expect more than a few Texas cops not to give a rip about the law or your rights. Especially in Democrat run jurisdictions like Austin or SA.
If you don’t want people carrying guns on your property in Texas, there are 2 specific signs you have to have posted, a 30.06 sign for no concealed carry, and a 30.07 sign for no open carry. The numbers refer to code sections. I have been there many times, and never saw either sign. It has been awhile, so they could be newly posted.
I’ll take my chances on encountering corrupt cops before I’ll trust to the absence of criminals. I also try to avoid malls and such anyway.
So, why did the location not provide armed guards since they asked everyone to disarm. This hound be a this or that liability issue.
I am very pro-carry and wish more responsible citizens were armed.
However, there was little that anyone could have done to react quickly enough to prevent that first group from being slaughtered and likely the second group that was off-camera to the left as he walked out of view. He gunned them down in seconds and they had no cover against a rifle at pretty close range with zero warning.
Horrific. There are demons among us and no guarantees in this life.
The local media is already framing it as domestic terrorism and white supremacy.
Dad had a Stetson he treated like gold.
Neutralized. That’s a word I have seen in the news a lot recently. In Louisville KY just minutes from my home, Police Neutralized a Mass Shooter at a Bank.
In Nashville Tn Police Neutralized a Mass Shooter at a Christian School,
In Allen TX Police Neutralized a Mass Shooter in an Outlet Mall.
There is a common thread in many recent Mass Shootings, The first person to engage the Mass Shooter with a Gun managed to Neutralize the Mass Shooter!
More proof that someone using a gun is the best method of stopping Mass Shootings. Why does it have to be a Police Officer.
In last years Indiana Mass Mall Shooting it was a civilian from Indianapolis Elisjsha Dicken, 22 Who Neutralized the Mass Shooter saving countless lives.
I completely ignore such ‘gun free’ signs.
I remember that. Sweaters for the entire extended family for Christmas. Even K-Mart, S. Kleins and other discount department stores up until the 70s had great deals. There was a wonderful women's clothing outlet place in Hagerstown, MD called L'Aiglon that was a quickly slapped together building on a bare bulldozed lot with shower curtains over the cinder block fitting rooms. I got exquisitely well-made dresses there when I was still a "sample size"! Eventually that site has morphed into a massive, fully built-out Premium Outlet mall with the ususal suspects: Bass, Ann Taylor, Under Armor, North Face, etc.
These days, the only discount store I still go to expecting an actual discount is Ollie's. Even they have gotten expensive since the plandemic.
Gotta say...L’Aiglon (Biberman Brothers, Inc.) had an interesting history. The owner committed suicide in 1933 because of financial difficulties during the Great Depression...but the store survived until 1975!
Thank you for the tip about Hamrick’s! I do get to the Carolinas from time to time, and will look for it! I kinda like Rose’s (in NC and southern VA) for household items and miscellany.
You’re welcome!
