The officer obviously did not intend to kill him. However, he did not pay any due attention to ensure non-harm to Floyd.
It was negligent homicide, imo.
I think the charge should have been involuntary manslaughter.
It's the classic case of is it murder if a man jumps off the roof of a tall building and is shot through a window on his way down?
IMO, Floyd was a dead man walking after ingesting all that fentanyl.

“It was negligent homicide”
Correct
Chauvin followed his MPD training and protocol for an individual experiencing signs of “excited delirium”. Another Officer on the scene requested EMS a few minutes after Floyd was removed from the Police Vehicle as his own request. EMS was told by Dispatch to “stage away” until the scene was secure. The growing crowd made the scene “unsecure” which delayed the EMS response. Floyd’s drug use and the unruly crowd are what killed George Floyd. Chauvin is a political prisoner, sacrificed to appease the thugs who actually run Minneapolis.
It was negligent homicide, imo., Jonty, the autopsy was provided for you to read it. Try it again, actually read it and use a little reason this time. I don't think that the officer was there to ensure that George did not take the THC, meth or Fentanyl.
