True. I use Grunder's (the fishing guys) rain jacket and pants. Figured, if it's good enough for the local lobster and oyster men, it should be okay for the bike. Not disappointed.
I rode hot high displacement bikes 1976-1983 almost as sole transport mode
I rode very very fast with some skills
Not King Kenny but I could drag a knee even before z rated tires
Wrecks are either biker or cars
You lack skills or push to hard or luck
Cars don’t see u period
I’ve had pins and surgeries to prove all this
Many riders today have almost track ready bikes and little skill
And die
Plus so many trick ride for posting on web sites and wreck
Less skills today is a big big reason
Overpowered bikes another
I would not ride daily in a large metro are
