“WHy should I bother looking up my sources?!”

You are entitled to freedom of thought & expression that form your opinions.

Yet, others find your opinions not based on facts.

“They have zero standards. They accept flat out propaganda from a ‘Ukrainian pilot’ so they’ll accept ANYTHING except anything that disagrees with their propaganda.”

This is a non-nonsensical statement.

First, there are multiple sources stated thru multiple comments per this thread.

Second, when you cannot substantiate your personally opinionated propaganda presented without factual sources results in one recourse: NO ONE obviously can agree or accept your comment (i.e., lacking truth for your bias statements without a factual source base will unfortunately only leave rejection of your opinions by others.)

Moldovan President: We’re only safe thanks to Ukraine, Russia wants to remake the Soviet Union
European Pravda
Friday, 5 May 2023, 22:53
https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/05/5/7400919/

Moldovan President Maia Sandu believes that if Russia had successfully taken over Ukraine, it would have continued its expansion - by bringing its troops to Moldova.

SOURCE: Sandu said this in an interview with the Financial Times, reports European Pravda

QUOTE: “I don’t believe they [the Russians - ed.] would have stopped at the border. We are only safe today thanks to Ukraine,” the President of Moldova emphasised, adding that in the early weeks of the full-scale invasion, when such a threat still existed, the country focused on looking after the refugees.

Asked whether she planned to leave Moldova in the event of an attack by the Russian Federation, Sandu replied that she did not.

“I would have stayed [in Moldova - ed.], but our expectation was that we would have had to help as many of our people as possible cross to a safe place, which is [neighbouring] Romania,” the president added.

According to Sandu, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is an attempt to “remake the Soviet Union”.

“They want to bring back the old days. And we don’t want this. Moldova has been part of the buffer zone for 30 years, and for us this meant poverty, corruption, bad governance, emigration. We want to be part of the democratic world,” she said.

The Financial Times journalist notes that “Sandu seldom drinks but readily toasts victory for Ukraine.”

Back in February, commenting on and condemning the Russian war of aggression, the Moldovan president stressed that there was a serious threat that Moldova might be occupied by Russian troops, but now this risk has significantly diminished due to the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the four hundred and thirty sixth day of the war.

Day 436: May 05

Today the biggest news comes from the east. Here, the Head of the Wagner Group, Prigozhin, publicly announced that they are no longer capable of sustaining such high losses and that they are going to withdraw from Bakhmut on the 10th of May.

He accused the Russian Ministry of Defense and other bureaucrats of creating artificial shell shortages due to the envy towards the overshadowing successes of his Private Military Company, which makes them look bad and incompetent.

This is a clear confirmation that Russian forces will not be able to symbolically establish full control over Bakhmut by the holiday on 9 May, which the Ukrainian High Command, commanders of brigades, battalions, and just soldiers have been confidently claiming for weeks.

In fact, when it comes to the movements of the front line over the last 7 days, despite absolutely brutal fights, Russian forces failed to breach Ukrainian defense. After a week of futile ground assaults, Russians decided to burn everything to the ground. The footage released just several hours ago shows that the whole residential area is under the attack of incendiary munitions. On the other hand, we have already seen a lot of similar attacks on Vuhledar. Even though some building catch on fire if an incendiary granule gets inside a flat, the main target of these strikes is likely Ukrainian equipment.

This strike has once raised suspicions about the genuineness of Prigozhin’s claims. As Ukrainian fighters are constantly experiencing heavy shelling, many downplay Prigozhin’s claims and speculate that he is pursuing other interests. Some speculate that he is just trying to attract attention to his company and gain more recruits and, therefore, money; others say that he has political ambitions and wants to replace the Minister of Defense, if not the current president; and some also say that he just failed to fulfill his promises to take Bakhmut by 9 May, and is trying to deflect the blame and save his reputation.

However, many things can be true simultaneously.
FIRST of all, after today’s other video, where he showed one hundred fresh corpses of his soldiers and specifically named Shoigu, Gerasimov, and the rest of the Ministry of Defense, calling them all the bad words known to men, it is highly unlikely just attention seeking and marketing. No one has ever said so many bad things about those at the top and seen a happy retirement. Let alone during the war.

SECONDLY, even though Ukrainians indeed experience heavy shelling, they are still successfully preventing Russians from advancing – exactly what Prigozhin complains about. Prigozhin wanted several times more shells to not allow Ukrainians to keep their head up so that he could make some advancements in the citadel.

THIRDLY, Prigozhin has been raising the alarm about the fact that Ukrainians might be preparing to conduct a massive flank attack and that he is not satisfied with the quality of the defense. Today he also said that Russian bureaucrats are once again exaggerating the number of troops on the flanks in order to submit good reports, while in his experience, the flanks are barely holding. He also emphasized multiple times that in the event of a breakthrough, Wagner forces in Bakhmut would be surrounded and eliminated.

And coincidentally, yesterday, we discussed precisely how Ukrainians are increasing the intensity of fights in the Siversk direction, relocating their tanks, and possibly preparing for a large-scale offensive operation. This also fits very well into the Ukrainian narrative that is increasingly circulating information about an unspecified surprise for Russians, and in particular, Wagner forces in this direction.

Prigozhin has his own intelligence – he probably anticipates it as well and decided to give up Bakhmut and escape the encirclement.

IT LOOKS LIKE he planned to kill two birds with one stone: TAKE Bakhmut and THEN ESCAPE.

But the internal politics undermined his efforts by creating artificial shell shortages, which resulted in unsustainable losses and left him with TWO CHOICES: he can either continue pushing with the last men and see whether they die before or after Ukrainians take Bakhmut into a pocket, or he can save the last men, get out of there before it is too late and as a bonus save his reputation.

Ukraine’s Defence Minister recalls negotiations with Russia: a NATO helicopter in Belarus, and Russians refusing to collect the bodies of their dead
Pravda

Ukraine’s Defence Minister recalls negotiations with Russia: a NATO helicopter in Belarus, and Russians refusing to collect the bodies of their dead

Ukraine’s Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov has recalled how the Ukrainian delegation flew to Belarus in a NATO helicopter to negotiate with the Russian invaders in February 2022, and how the Russians refused to take back the bodies of their dead soldiers.

SOURCE: Reznikov in an interview with Dmytro Komarov

QUOTE: “We got there [to Belarus] in an interesting way. They’d offered to make a corridor for us so that we could enter [Belarus] through the occupied part [of Ukraine - ed.]. We said, ‘Yeah. We’ll make our way there as we see fit.’ We talked to our Polish counterparts and our Polish counterparts supported us.

We got to Poland, boarded NATO Black Hawk helicopters there, and flew to Belarusian territory. We landed there and flew on to our destination in Belarusian helicopters.

I think that was the first time NATO helicopters landed on Belarusian soil…

I was struck by the cynicism of the Russians. On the day we were at the talks [in Belarus - ed.], we had already counted about 3,000 Russian dead. That’s a lot! Three thousand dead, plus wounded. We’re sitting there talking, and the negotiators are sitting on the other side. I say to them, OK, we’ve agreed on corridors, on the withdrawal of the population, but what are we going to do with the bodies of your dead - maybe we’ll give them to you for burial? Take them away, because we don’t have anywhere to keep them.

The head of the delegation [of the Russian Federation - ed.] turns to the Deputy Minister of Defence, and he says: ‘We do not confirm that, we have 10 or 20, or 30 dead.’ The head of the delegation turns to me and says: ‘We do not confirm that.’ I said, you might not confirm it, but there are 3,000.”

DETAILS: Reznikov said the decision to negotiate with Russia at the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion was an extremely difficult one for him.

He noted that it is unprofessional to negotiate with someone you hate. He said he had to switch off his own emotions.

Furthermore, the negotiations took place on the territory of Belarus, where the Ukrainian delegation could have been taken hostage or killed on the way.

The minister also mentioned that he suggested the Russians allow the Red Cross to be an intermediary in the negotiations so that they could assist in sending the bodies of the invaders home.

Reznikov told the Russian representatives that Ukraine could have transported the bodies in railcars, but the Russians would definitely not have returned the railcars.

A few weeks after the negotiations in Belarus, Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, came to Ukraine, having visited Russia previously. According to Reznikov, Maurer hinted that the Russian military leadership already knew about Russia’s military losses, but did not dare to report on this “to the top”: “They cynically hid the losses from themselves. From their own leadership.”

Don’t worry. The Orcs could pull every troops out of Ukraine plus Crimea as announced on live TV by Putin, and the trolls would say it was just propaganda, or its just a feint, or the real Russian army will appear, or some such idiocy.

No Propaganda.

Check out Comment # 12

I prefer to choose over Reuters as source rated as least biased based on objective reporting and very high for factual reporting due to proper sourcing of information with minimal bias. Also, a clean fact check record.

Unlike, Al Jazeera as a source which is Left-Center biased, based on story selection and mixed factual reporting due to failed fact checks that were not corrected with extreme misleading editorial bias.

“You people quote Davys Davydov, a Ukrainian shill, as if he’s factual and reliable, and demand sources from other people?!!!!”

Nice try, kid. I have never quoted him.

“You are part of the Ukrainian propaganda mill!”

Again, nice try.

“You have zero credibility!”

Obviously I have more than you.”

“WHy should I bother looking up my sources?!”

Just as I thought: You have none. You made it up.

You’re out of your league, kid; go back to the little table with the other kids.

You can’t read well. I ‘ll help. I said “You people” and you said “I never quoted him.” See the difference? I never said you - I said the people of which you are one. And yes, they post and quote a Ukrainian troll daily, and expect reverence for his fake veracity.

The Ukrainian shill threads rely on Ukrainian propaganda and shriek at any source that provides contradictory information. The whole group of Ukie shills share in trash posting propaganda and ranting about non Ukrainian shill sources. That’s you - you’re one of them.

You need to go to school, son, and learn basic sentence structure and logic. “You people” refers to a group; and you go on to say “...of which you are one.” Thus, what you said is I am one of those who comprise “you people,” and what you assert against “you people” you assert against me. Ergo, you said I quote Davydov. I corrected you, and I said I have never quoted the guy.

Give it up, kid; you’re in way over your head.
