If you have a PT Cruiser put some card board under the front end of you find a wet spot near the passenger side front wheel it’s probably a water pump very expensive to replace as you have to pull the front of the motor apart as it runs off the timing belt.if it’s towards the front of the car it could be a water hose or radiator you can get a radiator for around fifty bucks,if you seeno leaks it’s probably a blown head gasket as they are notorious for try some Blue Devil head gasket sealer it’s a toss up if it works or not. Also if you notice your battery going dead sitting just for a day oy two get a brake light switch it’s cheap and simple to change as it takes no tools and this works most of the time for battery drain.

I worked on thousands of these and I call the PT Losers.

IIRC She was T-Boned and that’s when the leaks started. Brake Fluid and Coolant. Not sure what side was hit. Have ask Salamander.

Thank You for the information. I don’t know if it’s a brake hose or steel line. Coolant I’m speculating it’s a heater core hose or s bypass hose.

You hanging in there Shari ?

Sounds like You know the PT like I do Jaguar XJ-6/12’s up through the Series 3’s. I can look at the mileage and drive one around the block and come up with a complete list of all that was needed. From brakes to steering rack mount bushings and everything in between. Made tons of money, too bad I partied it away back in the young and stupid days.

Damned hindsight is always 20/20...
