Frigid water. The rocks at the end of the beach were interesting.
Years ago, I ran the Dipsea Trail race (I did the double - out and back to Mills Valley; some nuts did the quad!). It was the most tiring race for me ever and I’ve run many marathons. I was so excited to finish I jumped into the water and nearly had a heart attack. Never again.
