Old-fashioned lard is the best fat to use when cooking. My grandmother and mother both used it and grandma lived to be 96 and mother lived to be 89.
Margarine is not better than real butter and I prefer the latter if I have my preference. “Public health” officials have been promoting fake food for so long that I doubt they could tell you what real food is actually made of if questioned. LOL!
now, its all real butter and whole milk...still drink the dang diet soda though.
We use lard, bacon grease, coconut oil and advocado oil
Took a while to get used avocado oil (esp since we make our own mayo) but after a while no big deal
