Good article but falls into the trap of putting communism on the end of a spectrum and fascism at the other end, which implies that the left are prone to marxism (true) and the right is prone to totalitarianism (quite false).

Most conservatives today, particularly if you exclude neocons and focus on the more recent trend toward conservative populism, would have been called liberal 100 years ago. The prime focus is a CONSTITUTIONAL LIMITATION OF FEDERAL POWERS. This is the opposite of totalitarianism.

This may be the reason why biased AI wants to contend that true communism has never been tried.

Well, if true, you have to ask, WHY?

It would be because it never works and marxist leaders resort to totalitarianism to keep power and force the population to continue to participate in a system that does not reward participation, would it?
