I had a hang nail. I did some gardening in the morning. By 7PM I had a red line all the way up my arm to the shoulder. My family doctor brought me straight in to his office by 9:00PM and met me there in the parking lot. He promptly hung a big bag of Vindamicin (not sure of spelling).

That's how Jim Hensen, the Muppets guy died.

You can go from a skin poke to organ failure sepsis in 18 hours. Don't mess around for a "antibiotic responsible stewardship protocol" speech. If you have an infection, cure it on the spot. Sitting at home with microbes stewing away inside of you because the CDC wants to "Control" disease, is not in your best interest. Notice CDC says nothing about curing or eradicating diseases. They are all about inventorying them, keeping them on hand for study and distribution to other labs for reasons of nefarious motives, and directing public health policy while at the same time enhancing their lethality. The first thing the CDC does if a new novel disease shows up in BF Egypt is to go collect the puke, blood, feces, tissues, and piss, from the outbreak to bring it to Amerca to play with.

Thank God you had a thinking doctor.

I worked with doctors a lot in my earlier career. Worked with some pretty great doctors, and some run of the mill doctors. They’re all out there. We must be discerning.

I have always said that good doctors are a dime a dozen, but really great doctors are priceless. Sounds like you had one of the really great ones.
