A mob of ninth-grade students has beaten up an assistant principal in Texas, who had to be rushed to hospital with serious head injuries.
The pupils at Westfield High School in Spring, 20 miles north of Houston, pummeled the administrator to the ground as she tried to break up a fight.
Video footage appears to show the brutal beating on Thursday, April 27, at the school's 9th Grade Center, which the teacher's family have said left her unable to speak.
The father of the victim said she is suffering from excruciating head pain and needed a CT scan after the incident.
Other staff members have now come forward to say they do not feel safe at work, and that parents would be 'upset' if they knew how unsafe the inside of the school is.
Another teacher at the school told Click 2 Houston: 'Three or four other kids jumped in on her. Just pummeled her to the ground, and they started kicking her and pulling her hair.'
'She loves those kids. She is the nicest person, and she’s the best administrator that we have at Westfield High School. It broke my heart. It makes me want to cry,' she said.
The teacher, who asked not to be named for fear of retaliation from the Spring Independent School District, told the outlet she felt compelled to speak out following the shocking incident.
She said members of staff do not feel safe on campus, where there are only two officers and nearly 3,000 students.
'When you call for help to the front office, nobody ever shows up. We don’t feel safe. Faculty don’t feel safe. If the parents knew how unsafe the inside of the school is, they would be upset,' she added.

My three grandsons 3. 8, 12 are homeschooled. The two older are way ahead of their “peers” in public school in academic subjects and the English grammar and vocabulary of all three greatly surpasses most of the kids in public school at any level Their academic subjects include real history and Geography and literature and is more weighted to Shakespeare than to Black Women’s Literature of the 1820s. They are in Florida so they don’t have to worry about jealous school boards and thought police.
When education preaches Critical Race Theory where individual initiative is replaced with equity, students will do what they want to do without any consequences. They will fail to advance to the next grade and their physical growth will be beyond those in their grade level. This is a symptom of the sickness of the culture that is causing it. Remember, it is not racist to criticize a culture.
