Not deflection. A recognition that no vaccine is 100% effective in stopping infections.
Complete deflection. The CDC, the supposed professionals, lied through their teeth when they claimed that those who took the Jim Jones Jab wouldn't carry COVID-1984, knowing full well that anyone taking a legitimate vaccine, since the beginning of vaccines hundreds of years ago, would still carry a virus they were immune to.
Their magical gene therapy was going to somehow stop that from occurring. They lied and have zero credibility.

That simply isn’t true. For example: The smallpox vaccine does not contain smallpox virus and cannot spread or cause smallpox.

My “family and friends” contains several hundreds of individuals—neighbors, co-congregants, co-workers, extended family and their relatives, in-laws and their relatives, and past neighbors or congregants with whom I keep in touch or share cherished memories. There are many such supernumerous, overlapping groups of beloved extended families in the US.

Sounds like you could have multiple family/friend/relatives where a death is counted multiple times. How many family/friend/relatives have lost someone to COVID?

Try again. You're avoiding the point. If you take the smallpox vaccine, and are later exposed to smallpox, although yourself immune, you can still spread smallpox to others, as it has been with every vaccine for hundreds of years.
The CDC outright lied, stating that if you took the Jim Jones Jab, you wouldn't spread COVID-1984. They had to walk it back after being called out for such a blatant lie. They have zero credibility.
