Reading more on the case, I see he was 17 at the time of the offens. He’s 21 at the time of sentencing but was 17 at the time of the rape so they are saying 17 was “too young for jail” which I don’t agree with but 17 is not 21 either.

Doesn’t make the sentencing correct but it does help explain the judgement.
