It is interesting that the left does not see socialism or communism (slavery to the state) to be slavery at all. It is just that the slavery that the left cares about just fits their Critical Theory strategy to stir up hatred of our country.

Exactly correct. Note their slavery to the state is a very old concept, where the state owns the people, to dispose of them as it sees fit. This goes back before the Pharoes.
The idea of limited state which respect the rights of individuals, is much more recent, and in the USA, has been unbelievably successful, which is why it needs to be discredited (to allow the return of an unlimited government).
