You spent the entire class sitting in the back, gazing out the window and suddenly the teacher calls your name. Miss Harris? Give us a brief synopsis of what we just learned today...
Miss Harris: Today, in the context of being between yesterday and tomorrow, allows me to focus on ‘the now’, not influenced by misrepresentations of history or visualizations of probable futures. Presently, is ‘the now’ which is important because it’s not the past or the future. That is what I appreciate about what I learned today, but in a way without the past and the future there is no now, so the past, present and future all need to be evaluated at the same time to appreciate what I learned today. If you visualize three partially overlapping circles, one of each representing the past, present and future you can see the overlap in ‘the now’. That’s where the yellow school buses go. Don’t you all just love yellow school buses? It’s like making my head explode. Cackle, cackle.
