You are correct when it comes to abortion, but a lot of the people we worked with who were helping Down's Syndrome people had leftist leanings. That is largely because we live in the middle of a leftist part of the country.
Many of those who identify as right wing virtue signal almost as much and in some cases, more than their left wing counterparts. I know a bunch of them. They are all talk and no do; they are constantly trying to judge the ones that actually are not afraid to get their hands dirty. As if flowery language is more important than sincere caring and action
