metallic hydrogen is an extremely dense liquid which absorbs light. The dark spots of sun spots is metallic hydrogen. You're going to have to slow down for me here...how does this idea of metallic hydrogen affect the idea of a rocky stellar interior? Isn't the idea that hydrogen only becomes "metallic" (whatever that means...sounds weird) when confined under great pressure.
