Tucker Should Go to CNN
425/2023 | Nikos1121

Posted on 04/25/2023 3:17:40 AM PDT by nikos1121

I found myself, like many on this forum, unable to sleep soundly last night. I awoke hours earlier than my usual 4:30 and read several postings on the firing of Tucker Carlson.

Unable to go back to sleep, I poured a coffee, and went to the premium YouTube channel (i.e. commercial free and the best informational outlet, next to FR, on TV), and watched a few videos on anti-aging, and the latest endeavors of our little Mars Helicopter.

Eventually, I came across Bill O'Reilly's piece on what happened to Tucker.

BOR, says that the Tucker team were taken by surprise. While they were in the middle of working on Monday night's show, basically a rebuttal of the ridiculous 60 Minutes propaganda on Ray Epps, Carlson was called into the office and told he was fired.

I urge fellow readers here to go to the BOR commentary for some other insight.

Tucker's (and Don Bongino's too) firing leaves me pretty empty. I think I speak for many people here, when I say I left Fox the day after the 2020 Election completely. I refused to watch even 10 seconds of the Network, but

then about 6-8 months later, I slowly returned to Tucker Carlson, to the point that I would watch the show live, or the next day via Youtube or other venue.

He had 4 million viewers. His show was aimed at people like us here.

He exposed things that obviously was uncomfortable for the Fox board, (that includes people like Paul Ryan).

He exposed Fauci, Big Pharma, our media and on and on.

So they silenced him.

In my anxiety caused by his leaving, I had the revelation, that what if Tucker returns, on a platform that allows him freer expression, with a wider audience.

Then it hit me.

THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN, WOULD BE THAT TUCKER CARLSON SIGNS ON WITH CNN!

I welcome your comments.

Please tell us what baggage Trump has, and please don’t list the propaganda subscribed by our media.

Tucker’s rich and likes to fish his new Maine environs.

He wouldn’t even take a VP slot with Trump—although that’d be fun!

Then the left would have succeeded in silencing him.

Being on CNN would terrify the left.

In some ways, I would love to see that channel turned around with real reporting, and with a good balance of talent out there.

That would include people like Meghan Kelly, and I’d be willing to endure some of the egg head liberals out there too.

I can’t stand Neil Cavuto or Bret Bair.

Even IF Tucker Carlson was on CNN I wouldn’t give them the click. They are almost a dead network now. Why revive the reviled.

Well, they wanted to go more “mainstream, and he would bring the “fair and balanced to that network instead of the Fox GOPeahen Coop. It will be interesting to watch this play out. I’m sure his agent is working all possibilities. He will have to bring a top notch team to wherever he lands. I wonder if he has a non-compete?

Looks like it’s coinciding with Biden’s announcement that he’s re-running.

I think you’re spot on.

I’ve read, and I think BOR concurred, that the firing negated the non-compete clause in the contract, since he wasn’t fired for a breach of contract.

So, he’s free to go where he pleases.

The last place anyone would expect him to go would be to CNN.

Would be next to impossible to silence him there, where by he would be silenced and back channeled if he just did podcasts.

I’ll tell you first hand! The “Grab them by the p***y comment P-O’ed all of the females in my family, they will have nothing to do with him. Period. That’s the baggage. Yes, I supported and voted for him twice.

I would NEVER tune in CNN, never, no matter who goes there. Tucker at CNN would be the "Megan Kelly Effect"....damned from the Left, damned from the Right, and finally....just damned to ratings hell.

Carlson needs to go totally independent. I would suggest Rumble for the vids, and Twitter for the breaking....at least until that CCP-funded, Biden-voting, Illuminati-Mom-Lovin' Elon gets pissed off.

Why do you care about CNN? Most conservatives left all 3 of those networks long ago. Tucker should do what’s best for him and it’s not CNN.

Their brand is beyond repair. I wouldn’t watch.

Besides, cable is dead. There’s other options.

"I can’t speak on that."

But you literally DID speak on that. You said Dan was fired, but he has stated he was not fired. He and Fox were unable to agree on a contract.

Facts matter. If they don't, we are no better than the Dems. If you are going to post a vanity, the facts should be correct.

...and speaking of the 2024 election season: What's that I see hiding just behind the proscenium curtains, awaiting its turn on centre stage? Why it's COVID-24, or rather, COVID-23 so as not to associate it with an election year. (Like they did with COVID-19).

Swirl in WWIII and the exponential explosion of AI, and we're lookin' at one hell of a 2024.

If not starting in 2023 ... by fall

Keep praying, folks!
