The details of Tucker’s exit aren’t clear to me. It hasn’t been characterized as a ‘firing’, but it could easily come down to that if they couldn’t ‘agree’ that he’d become a Fox news suckass.
Dan Bongino’s exit last week seemed to indicate that the failure to agree on terms of a new contract very likely hinged upon Fox’s insistence on more aggressively controlling his subject matter and commentary.
As soon as I check out and make copies of anything worthwhile remaining on Fox Nation, my subscriptions is done.
Was just thinking that myself, also since I haven’t taken full advantage of it for 6 months. They are gonna see some real pushback from former loyal subscribers and viewers now that Tucker (and Bongino) is gone. It’s gonna be Bud Light all over again. (Maybe, but not so extreme financially)
I remember a few years back during an end of the year review on Fox, Juan said that he couldn’t really enjoy any New Years Eve party he was at because he knew somewhere else there was a bigger and better party where people were having more fun. Some kind of real internal problems there
“The details of Tucker’s exit aren’t clear to me.”
I think it might have to do with his recent speech covering abortion and mutilation of children. A few days ago, IIRC.
I hope he’s still in possession of the Jan 6 tapes. But maybe Ryan and Murdochs snatched them away from him.
