Honolulu is a s hole of epic proportions.

You’re right. One place I have never been is Hawaii, so a while back I was looking at walking tour videos that people had taken in and around Honolulu. I was shocked at how old, outdated, and rundown it looked. It really looked like a dump, and nothing at all like the tropical paradise that people envision. It was just another decrepit lib-run city.

The only parts of downtown Honolulu getting cleaned up were given billions by the half white Obama to build monuments and federal buildings to stroke his vanity. I lived on the nicer side of the island near Kailua. I still have a few clients there but I hope never to go to Oahu again. I’ll stick to Hawai’i or Kauai if I bother going back.

I've been to Hawaii multiple times and I like to describe Honolulu as "New York City with palm trees" (see below). My last few trips out there, I've avoided Oahu entirely. Though everybody should go there once as a bucket list destination, if only to see Waikiki Beach and the Pearl Harbor memorial.

The Big Island, Maui and Kauai are my favorite places to go. The Big Island is especially recommended, virtually all the earth's climates in one place.
