The Asian community may need to being back the Chang-Sing and Wing-Con for self protection.
It seems there is big trouble in little China.
The same thing is going on in the Seattle area. I don’t think they really are hate crimes though. In our area the Asians are often the wealthiest folks around, and they are stereotyped (fairly or not) as having nice jewelry and plenty of cash on hand.
Our real estate agent had Chinese clients that would bring suitcases of cash to the house closings! (He would stop in at the bank and give the bank the cash and leave with a cashiers check for his client).
