But many of today’s starry-eyed wokesters don’t know what they are doing. They are just stupid, unthinking pawns in a larger game. That doesn’t make them any less dangerous, of course.

Your comparison is apt, but I think you are wrong about how the Nazis operated vis-a-vis how the Democrats are operating. The Nazis got 38% of the vote in the 1932 elections. They were masters at manipulating people who did not join the party. Many ordinary non-Nazi Germans were used by the Nazis to accomplish their goals, the same way the Democrats today use our useful idiots to accomplish theirs. It is absolutely the same and, in both cases, the goal is absolute power.
