I have some leftover BBQ in the fridge right now - sound good what you suggested - I think there is some cornbread in there as well.
I LOVE Lima beans, I used to be able to but the BIG fordhook lima beans frozen, have not been able to find them any longer😩!!!
Its a very satisfying meal. Hope it works out for you. I get a craving sometimes, and just have to give in! My grocery store carries frozen breaded okra that to you can pan fry, and it’s great in Brunswick Stew. Along with the other veggies. It’s sooo good!
I’m a southerner at heart, and we had half a pound of bacon that we needed to use up. So tonight for dinner I made BLTs with a Southern twist. I added fried green maters with homemade remoulade sauce (keep the regular tomatoes with it). I use sourdough bread for the toast because it holds up well. Mmm mmm!
