Big Medicine is woke and unscientific. My experience is that a few doctors eschew the wokeness, but even those that do that do not have the power to change things. Big Medicine and insurance companies are completely onboard with ObamaCare and everything fascist. It’s nearly impossible to find a private practice. Big Medicine is an oligopoly thanks to Democrats. There is no competition since prices are essentially fixed. That also means there is no differentiation in the quality of service and there are few motivators to excel.

COVID was the wake-up call for me. I unfortunately regularly need to see doctors and specialists. Their acceptance of anti-science which was driven my corporate overlords makes it clear that most doctors will just follow corporate bureaucrats that don’t know jack chit about medicine.

Exactly.

When they were brow-beaten over Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin and made to denounce them as if it was the Mao’s Cultural Revolution or face dismissal, and all of them basically kowtowed, I knew the “movement” had won against science.

Why wouldn’t a doctor want to know if a treatment was worthy when so much evidence was saying so? At least consider it without parroting what the democrats were saying. AND it was solely political in that regard.

If keeping your license is more important than the life of your patients, well, I do NOT want to be one of your patients!
