My son and his friends in high school had a slang term for overly sexy girls: THOT. That ho over there.
I taught my son that there were people you were going to have to show more respect for, than the person showed to themselves. You are going to have to avert your eyes from those who lack the judgment and self respect to dress with dignity.
I’ve taught youth classes in church for many years. Years ago in one church we had Wednesday night youth Bible study. One of our regular girls, quite a pretty young lady, had been sent home from school that day for too short shorts, and she was fuming. So I asked her why she dressed that way - thought she would spout the usual stuff about freedom, but she was honest with me - she said she wanted every boy in the room to drool over her when she walked in. So there’s nothing new under the sun.
Of course they are
The primary task of women is to get pregnant and bear children
My issue with this is he that he assumes all teenage girls do this on purpose. They DO NOT.
SOME, more knowledgeable and expierenced girls might.
But most teen girls don’t even realize what that does to a male.
I was one. I wish my mom or dad would’ve explained instead of just forbidding me from wearing certain things.
If i had understood, then I could’ve learned to handle the way I dressed and acted much better, especially when i turned 18 and could do what i want.
I’m embarrassed at how i dressed and acted sometimes because i was so naive, and i had no idea how unfair I was being to young men sometimes. It wasn’t until i was married that my husband explained about how we dress and act affects men.
Young and stupid newlywed, i just couldn’t understand why tee shirt and comfy short shorts to me = comfy clothes to clean house in. To my new hubby it was an invitation to everything BUT clean the house.
Finally he explained male point of view and I began to understand.
Parents must do better with their girls!
