OK, I’m with you so far. But I still want to know how they built the pyramids (and a bunch of other stuff) and what they did with their tools? Another question that bugs me, but apparently no one else, is what kind of industry financed all that early construction?

Personally I believe the Great Pyramid and other monumental prehistoric constructions were built using antigrav technology. I am 100% positive this exists today because I have seen it with my own eyes (i.e., motions of an object in the sky that violated the "Known" Laws of Physics).
Recently I had dinner with a retired officer of the Air Traffic Controllers (not sure of his exact title, but he was over an entire ATC Center). He confirmed seeing the same type of effect on their radar, except they actually had the equipment to measure distances and velocities of their object.
The object traveled 27 miles, from dead stop to dead stop in under 10 seconds. That is an average speed of about 10,000 MPH, not even accounting for time to accelerate and decelerate implying even higher peak velocity.
So...I ask myself...why couldn't the same unknown actors and their technology have been around when the Great Pyramid was built (at least 12KYA), along with Peru's Nazca lines and so many other unexplained "Wonders." The oldest written book in the world, the Rig Veda, based upon much older oral transmissions, records their presence and interactions with humans residing on Earth.
With respect to the 140,000, I would point out that an event with some similarities is the preservation of a very limited number of out ancestors via Noah's Ark. I do not wish to offend anybody, as I fully believe the Bible is telling us the actual truth; but, sometimes a parable transmits a different and deeper meaning than the literal, concrete words. This was, of course, explained to us by Jesus.
