Sadly, I think you may be right. They could've dragged this out for years...could have defended the righteousness of the original claims of election rigging...rather than refill the war chest of the invisible enemy of the American People just in time for 2024.
Fox certainly could have defended itself on the frawd part of Dominion’s claims. Discovery would have been spectacular. But maybe there is a sort of insurance coverage aspect to the payoff? Just maybe, as with the Twitter, some gummint agency is paying Fox to not make too much of the election fraud? The effbeeeye wouldn’t be buying time on Fox, would they? Not like they did to stop the conversation about clotshots? Nah, no way, I gotta up my vitamins——
