So did it work, have you gotten any distance back?

Too soon to say. We had one good week of 70° plus but I had other commitments and didn’t play that week. Then it went back down to the 40’s, so I haven’t played in Canada yet. I’m watching the forecast and getting yard and office work done so I’ll be ready when it’s steady 60’s again, but that doesn’t look likely until the second week of May. Very late start this year. Please remind me of who all the dandelion lovers are on this thread. I’ve been pulling them like crazy. Please come visit me and they’re all yours.
In the 5 weeks since I joined the gym, I’ve increased the weights on most machines by 20 pounds, so I believe I’m getting stronger. It remains to be seen if that will translate into a return of any or all of my lost yardage. At a minimum, stronger legs and stronger back muscles should help me maintain good balance in my swing. I’ll let you know.
golf slide a little further...
this golf season has started out horrendous, after a winter of what I thought were profitable sessions.
how do I shoot 85 one day and 105 the next on an easier course? The weather stinks but that’s no excuse. I sometimes go into full-tilt mode and start doing a tin cup and that can’t help
thinking of moving up to the senior tees permanently.(I only do it in my league currently)
I ended last year tickling 265 with my driver. So far, I’m barely reaching 225.
maybe I’m letting the old man in.
