IMO Tucker was cut loose from a sinking FNC ship mostly due to the Jan 6 videos. Tucker totally destroyed two years of work by the DS cabal to portray Jan 6 as an 'insurrection' - the greatest threat to the Republic since the War of 1812!
Note that after the first night of videos the whole exposé evaporated... the whole subject just disappeared. It made the Jan 6 Special Committee, the Dem shouters and the DoJ out to be lying deceiving curs; it ended their program to label DJT an insurrectionist and disqualify him from running for President.
