A Minnesota man, Dezmond R. Thomas Trawick, 22, was playing with his older brother's four pit bulls when he was involved in a deadly attack by the dogs, leaving him with "extensive bites," and he died one hour later in the hospital.
Thomas Trawick's family relayed that he was watching his older brother's four pit bulls, but that his brother doesn't live at the Brooklyn Center home. Thomas Trawick was at his house, Thursday, in his backyard with the dogs when the attack took place.
Jerry Nelson, Thomas Trawick's neighbor was interviewed by Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul, describing the scene he had witnessed as the four dogs brutally attacked the 22-year-old.
Nelson settled in Minnesota after he fled Liberia due to a civil war taking place. He explained what he saw in Liberia, but tried to express the shock he felt after witnessing four dogs attacking a man, which was something that he couldn't comprehend.
He said that he saw Thomas Trawick tossing a tennis ball to the four dogs in his backyard.

“Safe and effective”
4 pitbulls? I wouldn’t own 1.
I don’t trust them.
Whatta ya do? Play dead? Run for your life? Stand and fight it out with everything you got if ya go no choice I guess.
Gouge eyes
Use one dog as a weapon against the others, swing him by the back legs.
Aim, kick for balls.
??
According to his family, “Dezmond Thomas Trawick tragically passed away recently.”
Stupidity often pays off in strange ways.
That’s why I carry. Well it’s one reason.....
No sane, honest person does.
Agreed...
Four of these Land Sharks
INSANITY.
Obviously, the dogs knew something we didn’t.
Does this qualify as a darwin award? Staying in an enclosed space with 4 deadly animals one does not know sure seems like it.
I might be going out a a limb here, and what do I know anyway, but it seems to me the dogs already have been "evaluated" and found dangerous. Killing someone really clinches the "evaluation".
The breed of peace
PING
I have a friend who is a long-time dog trainer and he told me 'Never trust a pit bull.'
Died suddenly, huh. Was he vaxxed?
Shoot them.
It builds a case for carrying all the time.
This is a strange report:
“He explained what he saw in Liberia, but tried to express the shock he felt after witnessing four dogs attacking a man”
I mean, huhh???
What was the point of that?
Perhaps you know one of the few serious dog trainers left in this world.
Typical journalism: just string clauses together regardless of whether one reasonably leads to the next.
The gentleman said he’d seen a great deal of violence during the civil war in Liberia, but he was still shocked by watching a neighbor be killed by a pack of dogs.
