Yet all of these wizzy gadgets require certain things that may be in short supply in the future if we end up in a long drawn out war.

The first part of the war will consist of these types of weapons, the latter part these weapons will be in short supply because the infrastructure and components to make them will be unavailable. I hope that our government is considering this.
